Our high-energy excursions are intentionally designed to push limits, build brotherhood, and awaken a fighter’s mindset rooted in perseverance, discipline, and conviction.

Travis Hearn [Week 1 Only] Pastor, Author, NBA Team Chaplain

Pastor Travis Hearn is the Senior Pastor of Impact Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Team Chaplain for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns. What began as a Bible study for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals has grown into a thriving church reaching more than 10,000 people weekly.

Jason Patterson [Week 1 Only] Lead Pastor | Parkside Church, Indiana

Jason Patterson is a pastor, speaker, leadership coach, and author with a passion for helping people discover and fulfill their God-given potential. After spending the first decade and a half of his ministry traveling widely as a speaker, Jason and his wife, Andrea, moved to Fishers, Indiana, in 2015 to help launch Parkside Church, where he continues to serve and lead.

Jason is the author of From Your Biggest Fan, a book focused on cultivating influence, calling out potential, and helping others soar. His message is deeply practical and deeply needed for men who want to lead well at home, in the church, in the workplace, and in the relationships God has entrusted to them.

Through powerful storytelling, humor, and personal vulnerability, Jason helps men see leadership not as a platform to build themselves, but as an opportunity to strengthen, encourage, and champion others. His heart is to help men become the kind of leaders people can follow for the long haul.

Jason and Andrea live in the Indianapolis area with their three children, where they continue to invest in the local church and in leaders across the country.

Travis Jones [Week 2 Only] Lead Pastor | Motivation Church, Virginia

Travis Jones is the lead pastor and church planter of Motivation Church in the South Richmond/North Chesterfield area of Virginia, where he and his wife, Brittany, have served for the past 13 years. Their ministry is built around a simple but powerful conviction: God can take broken people and build them back together.

With more than 20 years of full-time ministry experience, Travis carries a passion to see men encounter Jesus, rise with courage, and live with purpose. His ministry is authentic, energetic, and deeply practical, helping people from all walks of life discover the hope and strength God has for them.

Start Saturday morning with purpose at the Men’s Minute Bible Study, a live gathering of our monthly state wide men's Bible study led by Rick Casto, Arizona Men’s Missionary. This early-morning session is designed to center the weekend on Scripture, prayer, and spiritual alignment before the day’s activities begin.

Start your day right with a hearty breakfast served in the Mess Hall included in your registration ticket. It’s a great time to connect with other guys and fuel up for the day ahead. For the early risers, fresh coffee will be ready by 6:00 a.m.

Gather in the sanctuary for a powerful main session with one of our featured guest speakers. This session will continue the momentum of the weekend, challenging men to grow in faith, strength, brotherhood, and spiritual endurance.

Our breakout sessions are designed to help you go deeper in areas that matter most to men. These workshops offer practical insight, spiritual encouragement, and real conversation. Choose from three options:

LEAD THE WAY: SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP AT HOME, AT WORK, AND IN YOUR COMMUNITY (MAIN ROOM)
Every man leads someone. The question is where he's leading them. This main room session takes an honest look at what it means to be a spiritual leader in the three places God has planted you: your home, your workplace, and your community.

BLENDED, NOT BROKEN
Blending a family takes more than good intentions. It takes grace, patience, and a plan. Whether you're remarried, raising stepchildren, or rebuilding after divorce, this session offers honest, practical wisdom for leading your marriage and your kids with strength and humility.

OPEN THE BOOK: HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELF
The Bible isn't just for pastors and scholars. It's for you. In this hands-on session you'll pick up simple, practical tools for reading, understanding, and applying Scripture on your own.

Noon-1:00pmLunch

We'll have one last meal together in the mess hall before wrapping up our final session. This meal is included with your registration.

1:15pm-2:45pmMain Session Three | John Petri & Dr. Yisrael Vincent

Continue the weekend with a focused main session designed to strengthen men in faith, courage, and spiritual perseverance. This session will help men take the challenge of the conference deeper, moving from inspiration to personal conviction and practical obedience.

Each weekend will feature a message that calls men to remain steady, fight the right battles, and lead with purpose in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.

Join the Demo Team

The Demo Team is made up of trusted volunteer leaders who serve alongside our lead team to help make the Ready Men’s Conference a strong and seamless experience for every man who attends. Demo Team members assist in key areas such as registration, setup, and tear-down, playing a vital role behind the scenes.

All Demo Team members will participate in a brief onboarding Zoom call during the week leading up to the conference to ensure everyone feels prepared and aligned.

You’ll still experience the full conference—including sessions, community, and activities—while serving in meaningful ways. 

As a small thank-you for your investment and leadership, Demo Team members receive a discounted conference registration.

If you enjoy serving, leading, and helping create environments where God can move, we’d love to have you on the team.

Lodging Options

  • Our dorm rooms include bunk beds and bathrooms. Please bring your own bedding. Groups can choose the same dorm to stay together in. To reserve a dorm for your church reach out to [email protected].

  • Upgrade the experience with a private hotel style room for both nights. Supply is limited on site. There is an additional charge for this upgrade.

  • We have hookups and a designated camping area if you want to bring an RV or sleep under the stars.

  • If you prefer to stay at a hotel we have a few we can recommend close by to the retreat grounds.

Conference Excursions

All excursions are included in conference registration. You are welcome to attend as many as you'd like. Please note start times as some excursions start at the same time. We'll do our best to coordinate carpooling for off-site excursions. Each excursion has a point person who will reach out with details before the event. 

  • The Fisherman | Upper Goldwater Lake Fishing Tournament | 7am

    Enjoy a refreshing outdoor experience at Upper Goldwater Lake, surrounded by some of northern Arizona’s most beautiful scenery. This fishing excursion offers a relaxed pace and a chance to connect with nature while spending meaningful time with other men in a peaceful, high-country setting.

    Participants will fish throughout the experience with prizes awarded for the most fish caught and the biggest fish, adding a light competitive element while keeping the atmosphere approachable and enjoyable.

    Please note that a valid Arizona fishing license is required to participate.

  • The Marksman | Shooting Tournament | 9am

    Take part in a focused and engaging experience at Prescott Shooting Range, Prescott’s premier indoor shooting facility. For this excursion, the entire range will be reserved exclusively for our group, creating a controlled, welcoming environment for both competition and learning.

    This excursion blends precision, discipline, and camaraderie. Whether you are new to shooting sports or have prior experience, this is an opportunity to sharpen skills, enjoy healthy competition, and connect with other men in a professional, well-run setting.

  • The Hiker | Thumb Butte | 11am

    Challenge yourself and take in stunning high-country views on the Thumb Butte Loop Trail near Prescott, Arizona. This 2.2-mile loop is a moderately challenging hike, making it an achievable yet rewarding excursion during the conference.

    Along the way, you will experience panoramic views, fresh mountain air, and a strong sense of accomplishment as you navigate one of Prescott’s most iconic trails. This hike is well-suited for men who enjoy being outdoors, want to stretch themselves physically, or simply desire space for conversation and reflection in a beautiful setting.

  • The Wimbledon | Pickle Ball Tournament | 1pm

    Join us for an energizing pickleball experience at Espire Sports, the premier indoor pickleball facility in the region. This excursion is designed to be both accessible and competitive, offering something for every skill level.

    Participants can choose between casual open play or a structured tournament format, with dedicated courts reserved for each. Whether you are brand new to pickleball or a seasoned player, you will find a welcoming environment, quality facilities, and plenty of opportunity for connection and friendly competition.

  • The Master Chief | Halo Tournament | 2 pm

    A high-energy Halo tournament on a massive LED wall. Old-school Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart will also be available.

  • The Contender | Boxing Clinic | 3pm

    Develop strength, focus, and confidence in a beginner-friendly boxing clinic at Average Joes MMA, led by head coach John Potenza. This hands-on experience is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of boxing in a safe, encouraging, and high-energy environment.

    The clinic will include practical instruction on stance, movement, and basic striking, along with guided, hands-on coaching to help you apply what you learn in real time. No prior boxing experience is required. The emphasis is on learning, engagement, and personal growth rather than competition.

    This excursion is built to help cultivate a fighter spirit—discipline, perseverance, and mental toughness that translate far beyond the gym.

  • The Ropes Course | 3pm

    Step into a high-adrenaline experience designed to challenge both body and mindset. The Ropes Course Adventure features rock climbing, a giant swing, and a high top ropes obstacle course, offering multiple ways to test your limits and build confidence.

    Participants can choose how far to push themselves, whether tackling vertical climbs, stepping off the platform on the giant swing, or navigating elevated obstacles that require focus, balance, and perseverance. Each element is designed to be safe, well-guided, and encouraging, making this excursion accessible while still stretching you beyond your comfort zone.
